Payments

Please make all payments immediately and contact for any cancellations or concerns before the item has shipped. Custom orders (if accepted) will require an initial deposit that is non-refundable and must be paid before the custom order is started. All payments must be made through Etsy and no outside payment sources will be considered.

Shipping from United States

Each item will have a customized shipping plan attached to it, and discounts for multiple purchases will be utilized. Most items (unless stated otherwise) will be shipped between 3 and 7 days of the order being placed. Postage can sometimes be delayed due to factors within the post facilities (typically during holidays and because of inclement weather) and I will do my best to keep customers in the loop if I am informed of any delays. I am not responsible for delays that occur once items have been shipped out. I am not responsible for damages that occur once items have been shipped out. If an item has been marked “delivered” by the postal facility and the buyer has not received the item, it is the buyer’s responsibility to contact their local post office for updates.

International shipping is available for a higher cost and may take an average of 30 days to reach the buyer. Each international order will be given a Customs Declaration number upon shipment. Please know the mailing policies of your residence before placing an order to avoid the package being confiscated throughout the international shipping process. I am not responsible for confiscated items. International orders may require an additional fee to be retrieved once they have reached their destination. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay these fees to whomever requires payment within their country. Please only purchase of my shop items are allowed to be shipped to your country.

I will work diligently to get every order shipped as soon as possible, and weekend orders will be sent on the nearest following business day.

In order to fulfill orders and provide the best customer experience possible, it is necessary for CarmineVeeCreations to collect certain personal information of customers. Initially, this information will be collected by Etsy and transferred to me so that I may fulfill and process all orders in a timely manner.

The personal information that I am given and collect: When an order is submitted from a customer through Etsy for products within my shop, I will be sent a notification that includes a copy of the order. This document includes the date of the order, the payment method that has been used, the order total (including item, shipping, and tax total), any notes from the buyer, the order number, and the name and address of who has made the purchase. These have been collected for the sole purpose of shipping out products and fulfilling orders.

How I use this personal information: Any personal information that has been shared with CarmineVeeCreations will be used as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support. Additionally, your information may be used if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law. All information will be used as necessary and in compliance with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

The legal base I rely on to use this personal information: All personal information that has been collected through Etsy has been given voluntarily by customers for the purpose of purchasing products. These purchases have been made with the understanding that the information provided is necessary and will be used to deliver said products.

Third parties that will have access to your information: I am responsible for the information that has been provided to CarmineVeeCreations when a purchase has been made within my shop. This information provided to me may be shared with a select variety of third parties, including 1) Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use. 2) Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services. 3) Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

The length of time personal information is kept: I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU: I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Your rights as a buyer regarding your personal information: If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below. You have the right to access your personal information and ask how it is being used. You have the right for your personal information to be forgotten and the right to withdrawal consent to the use of your information (with the understanding that orders cannot be fulfilled without certain information). You have the right to data portability (transferring your data from one service provider to another although CarmineVeeCreations will never transfer data to any providers other than the entities listed). You have the right to be informed before personal information is collected. You have the right to correct any personal information provided. You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. You have the right to object and stop the processing of any personal information. You have the right to be notified of any and all data breaches that may pose a threat to your personal information.
